CEO & Founder
Donald A. (Don) Hicks is the CEO and founder of Optilogic, the new leader in supply chain design. Don’s passion for software technology development and applying scientific and engineering methods to solve complex supply chain problems has made an indelible impact in the software industry as well as companies around the world. He is best known for founding LLamasoft, a supply chain modeling, optimization, and analytics solution in 1998, which later sold for $1.5 billion. In 2015, while CEO of LLamasoft, Don led the acquisition of Barloworld’s Supply Chain Software Division and IBM’s LogicTools supply chain applications business unit.
In addition to making his mark in the supply chain technology market, Don founded a biotech software company called DNA Software. Don later established Saganworks, an Ann Arbor based tech firm that provides a 3D immersive experience used in museums, galleries, and a range of other industries.
Don graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served as an officer in the US Army’s field artillery branch in Germany.

Rebecca is vice president of product management at Optilogic. She also leads building out the Solution Design team within the Go-to-Market organization. She has a passion for supply chain design, technology, and helping customers reach their highest potential (and having fun along the way!).
Prior to Optilogic, she worked at LLamasoft for 10 years as the product manager of Supply Chain Guru and led a team in solution design, focused on building tailored solutions for customers to meet exactly their needs. Being a part of the company from its early stages, she had the opportunity to work on hundreds of customer projects across retail, CPG, automotive, oil and gas, food and beverage, 3PL, high tech and federal industries.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Michigan. In her free time, she loves going on adventures with her family – spending the summer months camping across northern Michigan. She also loves to play hockey and played for the University of Michigan Women’s Ice Hockey team.

Jim leads the team building Cosmic Frog at Optilogic. He has spent the last 25 years building and consulting with supply chain design software, working with many of the world’s leading companies to improve their supply chains.
Jim started building design software in the 1990s bringing MIP optimization into supply chain modeling. He went on to manage the supply chain modeling practice at Deloitte before joining Barloworld and leading the team that built CAST. Joining LLamasoft via acquisition in 2015, Jim led the team building App Studio then went on to lead the solution architecture group working with customers globally to implement solutions in the design and planning arenas.
Because he’s so passionate about design and its importance to the world’s future, Jim is excited to have a part in creating the first true SaaS design platform to support better decision-making. Jim lives in Scotland and when not designing software and building models enjoys kayaking, open water swimming and hiking.

Executive VP Sales & Marketing
As head of sales and marketing for Optilogic, Jim is responsible for understanding the trends and needs of supply chain organizations and democratizing supply chain expertise across all industries. Jim has over 20 years of experience in change management and strategic design and expertise in leveraging technology in the communications, traffic management, cloud storage, and pollution control industries.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served as an armor officer in the United States Army.
Jim takes pride in his responsibility as a father to an adult son with Autism and takes several “Zoomageddon” trips each year with him. He’s also a diehard 22-year Kansas City Chiefs season ticket holder and maybe a “Swiftie.”

As vice president of business development, John is responsible for building strategic partnerships with the consulting community and works with global organizations to develop repeatable solutions for their supply chain design organizations.
Prior to Optilogic, John was part of the leadership team at LLamasoft, helping the company go from 12 employees to over 500 across 10 years, with roles in pre-sales, professional services, alliances, and country manager. John also worked in pre-sales and business development roles for several small supply chain companies focused on inventory optimization, demand planning and causal forecasting, network optimization, S&OP, and finite capacity scheduling.
John holds a bachelor of business administration with a concentration in marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University. Fun fact: John has climbed Mt. Fuji twice! He also loves fly-fishing and running his climate-neutral certified activewear company part-time.
Chief Financial Officer

Drew is the CFO at Optilogic. He handles all Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Tax and Investor Relations for the company. Drew has more than 20 years of experience in Finance and Accounting roles, most recently as CFO of fintech startup ClickSWITCH.
Drew has an MBA from the University of Minnesota. Outside of the office, Drew enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and is an avid, yet below-average triathlete.

Mike is the VP of Platform Engineering at Optilogic. He was most recently the Director of Engineering at Mozenda where he directly led the Development, Quality Assurance, Operations,, and IT departments. Mike built several key features including a new Browser Engine, Request Blocking, Javascript IDE, and Insights Analytics which positively impacted all consumers, departments, and the company’s bottom line.
He holds an Exercise Physiology and Computer Science degree from Concordia University Wisconsin.
Mike has always enjoyed programming and his programming language as a youth was qbasic to modify snake game.

Mark is the Vice President of Professional Services at Optilogic. He has over 20 years of experience in supply chain technology and consulting and most recently worked at LLamasoft, Inc. where he led the professional services team in North America. Mark has a passion for applying advanced analytics and design principles to help customers achieve success.
He holds a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Outside of the office, Mark likes to play in a city basketball league. Their team is named after the street where their favorite coffee shop is (bonus points if you can guess it).

As head of marketing, Jennifer is responsible for understanding what drives supply chain technology buyers and creating compelling messaging, content, and programs to connect them with Optilogic solutions.
Jennifer has over 20 years of experience marketing supply chain technology–including supply chain planning, warehouse management, ERP, and of course supply chain design–to businesses around the world.
Outside of work you can find Jennifer cheering for her two sons at the hockey rink, exploring new mountain bike trails, testing new recipes, or digging into a classic murder mystery.

Steve is the VP Supply Chain Engineering at Optilogic supporting the teams that develop Optilogic’s engines. Prior to Optilogic he served in similar roles at LLamasoft. Steve has a passion for bringing together cutting-edge algorithms with software engineering best practices.
Steve has a Bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He spends most of his free time helping coach his son’s travel baseball team.

Craig has over 25 yrs of experience in a variety of leadership roles in these areas, with an emphasis on people and talent strategy to accomplish business goals.
Outside of the office, Craig enjoys spending time with his family and friends, biking, and playing the steel drum – with the future ambition of playing for pocket change at the end of a pier somewhere where it’s sunny and warm.
